CALL FOR
HOSTS +++++
Dear Member,
As you are
probably aware, CNEW will be having OPEN SHOP
VISITS in February 2007 in lieu of our regular
meeting.
If you are interested
in being a Shop Host - a.k.a. opening your shop up to
other members to visit - please reply and let us know.
We'll ask again at the January meeting and once more
shortly after that but would love to know now.
The Open Shops Visit
night is usually the held on the meeting night - or
February 1st this year - from perhaps 5pm to 9pm or
whatever time you choose. You can demo, serve cookies,
teach a technique, watch a video or whatever you choose
to entertain your guests.
You don't need to be
the best turner in the bunch but just willing to share
some time with friends. In fact host usually learn from
these events and much as their invitees!
If you don't wish to be
an Open Shops Visit host in February 2007 - don't forget
that... you could invite guests to your place anytime
later in the year of course .
