We launched this undertaking at the March 2006 meeting with more than 15 members involved. Each took home 3 or 4 pieces of 4ft kiln dried lumber. Mostly 8/4 x 6" in size, Brazilian Cherry, Mahogany, Ipe, and others, thanks to Charlie Croteau and his secret source and to Walter Ambrosch of Gone Batty for donation of 100 bat blanks.

Come next month and get some wood yourself. We plan to make this Project continue for a while so there's plenty of time for you to join in. Our hope is to initially raise around $400 to give to causes like:

Free Wheelchair Mission
Where $400 gives 10 people a much need wheelchair.

International Children's Care

Wachusset Greenways

Pick up a piece of wood at the next meeting to help our worthy cause and feel good about it! The proceeds will be donated to a local charitable cause.
